As a Grass Team Leader, you are responsible for running and managing one crew up to 3 people for day-to-day activities. A Grass Team Lead is a proactive leader and self-starter who can interact with the public and our employees. As a leader you must have a strong work ethic and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines as well as have experience in landscaping and previous supervisory experience, as well as proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. Depending on qualifications and work performance, there is potential for future opportunities within the company Specific Responsibilities: Manage team of up to 4 people while performing services; motivate, coach, and mentor team Perform Grass maintenance duties, such as mowing, fertilizer application, weed control, aeration, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, and tillers Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns Complete daily paperwork ie: vehicle and trailer checklist, work orders, fertilizing sheets, and other required documents Job Requirements: Current and unrestricted G Driver's license with a clean driver's abstract Background check Three + years' experience in lawn cutting and property maintenance Previous leadership experience Able to work days, weekends, early morning, early evening Willingness to work occasional overtime Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature Wage $20-$28 an hour depending on experience. Manage and mentor a crew of up to four people while performing comprehensive grass maintenance and landscape enhancement services. Handle client interactions and complete necessary daily documentation and vehicle checklists.

Requires a valid G Driver's license, a clean driving abstract, and over three years of experience in lawn cutting and property maintenance. Candidates must have previous leadership experience and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
