This is a true hunter role. You'll spend your time prospecting, cold calling, meeting with potential customers, uncovering opportunities, and closing new business. What You'll Be Doing Prospect and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, social selling, and outbound outreach. Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. Schedule and conduct virtual and in-person client meetings. Identify customer pain points and recommend customized transportation and logistics solutions. Prepare pricing proposals and negotiate profitable agreements. Close new business while ensuring a smooth transition to Operations. Develop long-term relationships that generate repeat business. Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline updates within the CRM. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed. Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team. Qualifications We welcome candidates from a variety of sales backgrounds. Ideal qualifications include: Experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Logistics (preferred but not required). Transportation, freight brokerage, supply chain, or logistics experience is considered a strong asset. Proven ability to generate new business. Strong negotiation and closing skills.
