Introduction The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking a knowledgeable, personable, and customer-focused Service Advisor to join the team at our Lexus Victoria dealership. As the primary point of contact for Service customers, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive and professional experience from check-in to vehicle pick-up. You’ll work closely with customers and our Service and Parts teams to understand vehicle concerns, recommend the appropriate services, provide clear updates, and ensure a smooth service experience. Schedule: This is a full-time, permanent role of 40 hours per week. The regular schedule may vary depending on the dealership’s requirements. Learn more about us here: https://www.jpautogroup.com/dealership/about.htm A Day in the Life Greet Service customers and ensure the customer’s needs are fully understood Promptly and professionally answer incoming calls to the Service department Accurately document all vehicle concerns onto Repair Orders and sell repairs and services to customers based on their needs Prepare accurate quotes for recommended services and obtain customer approvals for repairs Act as the liaison between the customer, the parts department, and the Automotive Technicians Ensure customers are kept informed about the status of their vehicle, any additional recommended repairs that may be found, and wait times Manage customer complaints respectfully and promptly; escalate concerns when appropriate Conduct vehicle inspection walk-arounds before and after service appointments Maintain a tidy, presentable work space Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment Other administrative duties as assigned What We’re Looking For A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report Previous experience in the automotive industry as a Service Advisor is preferred, with experience with CDK One-Eighty software considered an asset Previous, related experience in a customer-facing role would be considered an asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Good data entry skills, with strong accuracy Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities Ability to stay calm and focused in a face-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and dependable Good written and spoken communication skills Ability to work in close proximity to a noisy automotive shop Ability to periodically work outdoors during the day to complete vehicle inspections, with exposure to various weather conditions including sun, rain, wind, snow, heat, and cold What We Offer Competitive wages Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and insurance Flexible schedules Unlimited opportunities for advancement, growth, and development Manufacturer led training opportunities Access to exclusive corporate discount programs Recognition and rewards programs A great team atmosphere and a positive, supportive working environment How to Apply If this sounds like a great fit, please apply with your resume today!
