Are you looking to join a well-known organization in the CPG industry? Do you have a university degree in business, finance or accounting and looking to get your foot in the door? Our large, Canadian client is experiencing tremendous growth and looking to hire a Corporate Accountant. The Corporate Accountant is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial results for both internal and external users. This position will partner closely with the Corporate Reporting and FP&A Teams Responsibilities: Take ownership of essential finance operations from day one - gain hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, purchase orders, and bank transactions, all while working with SAP, a leading financial system. Build your expertise by recording intercompany transactions and taking an active role in month-end reconciliations, settlements, and accounts receivable/payable activities. Play a key role in financial transparency by maintaining accurate cash balance reports that directly support important business decisions. Support finance transformation by participating in the implementation of new technologies and streamlining processes for greater consistency and efficiency. Bring forward innovative approaches to ways of working, supporting our finance transformation journey Qualifications: University Degree in Accounting or Finance with course experience in intermediate accounting and introductory knowledge of GAAP Completion of advanced accounting courses is considered an asset Interest in pursuing CPA designation or other relevant certifications. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel Exposure to digital tools and technology is an asset (AI, PowerBI, SAP) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize and stay organized. Eagerness to learn, intellectual curiosity, and adaptability. Data literacy, innovation mindset, and ability to interpret data. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
