Benefits We are proud to offer a competitive and supportive workplace with benefits designed to help you build a long-term career which includes: Competitive wages Comprehensive Benefits Package – including Medical, Dental, and More Pension Program with Company Match Supportive, Team-Focused Work Environment Well-Maintained, Modern Equipment Opportunities for Long-Term Employment Potential Year-Round Work Opportunities Employee Discounts through Perkopolis Clothing & Boot Allowance Overtime Pay Available Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop Supervise all shop staff Ensure that all work is performed safely, cost effectively and in a timely manner Manage parts inventory; ensure timely and effective acquisition of materials; minimize on-hand inventory Perform inspections, diagnosis, & repair on Plow Trucks, Heavy Equipment and Light Support Gear through preventative & scheduled maintenance Ensures that all shop personnel, equipment, vehicles and work areas are always following all safety policies and regulations Liaise with Operations Supervisors and drivers in a professional and team-oriented manner Maintain a clean and organized work environment Maintain all equipment records and files Always ensure compliance of CMMS and is accurate and complete Qualifications 310T Truck and Coach Technician License 310S License considered an asset D class driving license considered an asset Strong technical knowledge Your own set of tools Valid Ozone Depletion Training is considered an asset Proficient in all areas of hydraulic systems and related repairs Positive attitude and strong work ethic Willingness to take on new challenges Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot faults Diagnostic software experience considered an asset Excellent communication skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Available to work late, weekends, and holidays when needed Compensation Data Targeting a starting rate between $46 to $48 per hour Culture At Miller, we want every employee to feel connected, where creativity and innovation thrive, and your contributions make a real impact.
