Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Where will you work: Onsite – Colonsay, Saskatchewan (Colonsay is located approximately 42 miles from City of Saskatoon, with an average driving time of about 45 minutes) Shift Schedule – 4/4/10 Hourly: - $63.42, As per CBA As a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic will safely and efficiently perform the duties of a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic in an assigned area on an assigned shift. What you’ll do? Reporting to the maintenance supervisor you will work as part of a team and be responsible for servicing the surface mobile equipment and/ or the underground mobile equipment fleet. Work safely in an industrial environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place. Perform preventative maintenance inspections, lubricate, diagnose, adjust, repair and overhaul as required. Basic computer skills and ability to communicate and report any deficiencies or corrections noticed during routine maintenance or inspections either verbally or in writing. Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training. Play a critical role not only ensuring your own safety, but the safety of others. Be able to work in the field, shop or underground. This position may work a shift rotation requiring weekend work. What You’ll Need The successful applicant must hold a Interprovincial Journeyperson Red Seal certificate. Previous experience in a Mining or an Industrial Environment is an asset, (2-3 years). Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic's pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing. Must be authorized to work in Canada. Responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing surface and underground mobile equipment fleets in an industrial mining environment. Performs preventative maintenance inspections and ensures strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Must hold an Interprovincial Journeyperson Red Seal certificate and be authorized to work in Canada. Previous experience of 2-3 years in a mining or industrial environment is considered an asset.
