Rotation/Shifts Days, including weekends, 8 hour shifts (08:00-16:00). For information purposes only - The Hospital reserves the right to change. Basic Requirements Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12); One (1) year clerical experience in a clinical environment; Successful completion of TOH medical terminology self-directed learning program or certification in medical terminology from a recognized educational institution; Data Entry (4000 kph); Ability to work effectively with names and numbers as per Hospital standards; Excellent interpersonal skills; Eligible to work in Canada; Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced) and comprehension (level 4 - advanced). The Ottawa Hospital uses a 5-level language proficiency scale to define the required level of language skills in English and in French for positions at the Hospital, and to evaluate job candidate language skills. Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English speaking clients.
