Position Information Temporary position until approximately June 19, 2027. Rotation/Shifts Days,evenings and nights, including weekends, 8 hour shifts. For information purposes only - The Hospital reserves the right to change. Basic Requirements Diploma in a Pharmacy Technician Program from a recognized College of Applied Arts and Technology OR certification as a Pharmacy Technician by the Ontario College of Pharmacists; Experience working with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications; Knowledge of purchasing and supply management; Good written and verbal communication skills; Good interpersonal skills. Eligible to work in Canada. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced) and comprehension (level 4 - advanced). The Ottawa Hospital uses a 5-level language proficiency scale to define the required level of language skills in English and in French for positions at the Hospital, and to evaluate job candidate language skills. Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English-speaking clients.
