Basic Requirements High School Diploma; Certificate of Qualification (Plumbing) issued from the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities Ontario; Certified in Cross Connections and Backflow Prevention; Five (5) years experience, achieved within the last ten (10) years; Good knowledge of plumbing codes and standards; Confined Space Entry knowledge training; CPR training; Ability to read blueprints and schematics; Good diagnostic skills, use of measuring and test equipment; Good written and oral communication skills in the English Language; Ability to perform calculations related to the trade; Basic computer skills; Ability to interact well with a variety of individuals. The Plumber is responsible for maintaining and repairing plumbing systems within a large multi-campus hospital environment. This includes using diagnostic tools and reading blueprints to ensure the facility's water and waste systems operate safely and efficiently.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma, a Plumbing Certificate of Qualification from Ontario, and certification in Cross Connections and Backflow Prevention. A minimum of five years of experience within the last decade and knowledge of confined space entry and CPR are also required.
