The primary role of the Estimator is to work in conjunction with the other members of the Estimating Department, and other departments as required, to develop project estimates, budgets, schedules and proposal documents based on the latest available costing methodology and data. This will be done under the supervision of other members of the department with the degree of supervision varying dependent on experience. These estimates, budgets, schedules and proposal documents are used for winning new work as well as support to the execution of work. Exigences
Requires post-secondary education in mathematics or science and 1-2 years of experience in underground mining operations. A degree in Mining Engineering or a related technician diploma is preferred.
