Project: Newmont, Musselwhite Rotation: 14 days on, 14 days off Shift Length: 12 hours Salary Range: $137,500 - $157,000/annum, range is variable and dependent on overtime worked and production bonus paid Travel: Flight from airport closest to point of hire to Thunder Bay - Charted flight to site Accommodation: Remote Camp setting Benefits: Redpath offers comprehensive benefits including but not limited to health, dental and vision care, life insurance, pension and employee assistance program Job Summary: The primary role of the Mechanic is to perform preventive maintenance and repairs to diesel, electrical, hydraulic and air operated equipment. This includes mobile equipment hoists, compressors, drills, small tools and miscellaneous equipment of a similar nature.

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and air-operated equipment. This includes servicing mobile equipment, hoists, compressors, and drills in an underground mining environment.

Requires an Ontario Hard Rock Underground Service Type Common Core certification and basic literacy. A Journeyman level qualification and 3 years of underground mining experience are preferred.
