Project: Eastwood Development Location: IAMGOLD at the Westwood Mine Rotation: 7 day on, 7 day off or possibilities 14 day on, 14 day off Shift Length: 12 hours workers 13 hours supervision Allowance: Will be provided based on location Travel: Will be provided based on location Benefits: Redpath offers comprehensive benefits including but not limited to health, dental and vision care, life insurance, pension and employee assistance program Pre-employment requirement: Drug Test Requirements: FMTM (Formation Modulaire du Québec) or equivalent (Ontario Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core) Valid driver's license General Explosives Permit Job Summarys: Mechanical Supervisor: * The primary role of the Mechanical Supervisor is the direct supervision of the underground and surface mechanical personnel to ensure that all mobile and fixed equipment are maintained, repaired and functioning according to project requirements, and safety standards. The Mechanical Foreman is required to work closely with the Project Superintendent regarding the production goals and the role the maintenance department plays in achieving them. Oversees all phases of equipment maintenance, risk controls, and materials management Requirement and Work Experience: * Journeyman Certificate (421A) (preferred) * 1-week Redpath Mechanical Supervisor Orientation * 7+ years’ experience as a Heavy-Duty Technician (preferred) * 5+ years’ experience in the mining industry * 2+ years’ experience in a lead role Mechanic The primary role of the Mechanic is to perform preventive maintenance and repairs to diesel, electrical, hydraulic and air operated equipment. This includes mobile equipment hoists, compressors, drills, small tools and miscellaneous equipment of a similar nature. The Mechanical Supervisor oversees underground and surface mechanical personnel to ensure equipment maintenance and safety standards are met. The Mechanic performs preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and air-operated mining equipment.

Candidates must possess a Journeyman Certificate or equivalent and have extensive experience in heavy-duty mechanical roles within the mining industry. Mandatory certifications include FMTM or Ontario Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core and a valid driver's license.
