Trainer - Borden

Location: Borden Mine, Chapleau, Ontario, Canada Rotation: 7 on, 7 off or 14 on 14 off Shift Length: 11 hours Salary Range: $73,000 - $123,000/annum, range is variable and dependent on overtime worked and production bonus paid Allowance: Based on location Benefits: Health Care, Dental and Vision, Life Insurance, Pension Plan, Employee Assistance Program Pre-employment requirement: Drug and Alcohol testing Job Summary: Under the supervision of the HSE Superintendent, the Trainer is responsible for training employees to safely and efficiently operate underground mining equipment and perform mining-related tasks while meeting all Redpath, Client and legislative requirements. The Trainer is responsible for instructing employees on the safe and efficient operation of underground mining equipment. They ensure all training meets Redpath, client, and legislative requirements under the supervision of the HSE Superintendent.

Candidates should have 5+ years of training experience and a Train the Trainer certification. Required qualifications include Ontario Basic Underground Hard Rock Miner and Front Line Supervisor Common Core certifications.
