_*We are looking for a Licenced 310T Mechanic to join our team!*_ *Why Choose Sarjeants?* * Compensation: $44.00 per hour based on experience. * Compensation is paid weekly. * Employer paid competitive benefits coverage after 90 working days including Extended Health Care for Medications, Emergency Travel Assistance, Medical Services and Equipment, Paramedical (osteopathic, podiatrists, physio, chiro), Vison, Dental, Employee Assistance Program. * Life insurance. * Group RRSP plan with 5% employer match after one year of service. * Overtime, not required, but available. * Tool & Boot Allowance. * Modern fleet of well-maintained vehicles cared for by dedicated drivers and skilled mechanics. * Social Events throughout the year. * Located conveniently off Highway 400/Dunlop St. * Well-maintained shop environment. * Opportunity for growth and professional development. * Work with a team of long-term employees who value our supportive and respectful work environment. *The Position* We have an immediate openings in our Barrie location. *Monday to Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.* Our mechanics are responsible for the following: *Duties/Responsibilities* * Diagnose, test, adjust, and repair systems of heavy-duty vehicles. * Examine, test drive and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment. * Perform repairs and replace defective parts. * Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services according to manufacturer?s specifications. * Maintain inventory and restock parts. * Perform emergency road repairs as required. * Submit records of repairs and preventative maintenance to Fleet Administrator. *Qualifications/Skills* * *Must be a 310T licensed truck and coach technician.* * Valid G driver?s licence is required. * AZ or DZ licence or experience with Ready-Mix trucks is considered an asset. _The Sarjeant Co Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
