Mi-Jack Operator

We are currently recruiting for a Mi-Jack Operator. The successful candidate will be required to be a team player and to safely operate the Mi-Jack gantry crane. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and flexibility with schedules are required to achieve operational goals. The successful candidates will also: - Work in a safety sensitive environment - Be a self-starter and work with minimum supervision - Be reliable, punctual, and take pride and ownership of their work - Be detail-oriented and organized - Able to read and understand construction drawings competently - Organize and set up complex lifts according to safety and operational requirements (e.g., rigging, etc.) - Be a safe and competent overhead crane operator and must possess OH crane license - Be willing and able to teach others on the safe execution/operation of lifts - Able to lift up 50 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs. occasionally (team lifts) - Other duties, as required, per business needs The hours of operation are per the collective agreement. Flexibility to work overtime is considered an asset. The hours of operation are per the collective agreement. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends is required based on the business needs. This is a position that requires regular and frequent overtime and requires the successful applicant to stay until the job is done.

Safely operate Mi-Jack gantry and overhead cranes to move concrete products. Organize and set up complex lifts and provide training to others on safe execution.

Must possess a valid overhead crane license and be able to read construction drawings. Requires the physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs and flexibility to work frequent overtime and weekends.
