landscape technician

The Tarcott Group is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Landscaping division. The Landscape Technician will be responsible for, pruning, planting, cutting, raking, edging, garden bed cultivation + leaf clean-up etc. The properties we service range from commercial to residential/strata from the Fraser Valley up through Pemberton. We provide year round work and in the winter months, snow removal and pedestrian walkway maintenance will be part of your job tasks. \*\*Please keep in mind, at this time we are only looking for candidates with previous landscape experience. *Skills:* * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions * Ability to work independently and as part of a team and adhere to all safety procedures * Physical stamina to maintain a productive 8-hour workday and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and work on a variety of terrain * Ability to drive a company vehicle so a valid BC driver?s license is required with a clean driver abstract * Previous experience in landscaping, irrigation, horticulture and operating skills of landscape tools + equipment, is a strong asset * Provide personal safety gear including steel-toed footwear, and waterproof outer wear.
