On behalf of our client, The Warrington Group is recruiting for a Gas Technician to join their team at Peace of Mind Heating and Services. ABOUT OUR CLIENT: ​Peace of Mind Heating and Services is a trusted service provider specializing in gas and hydronic systems. THE OPPORTUNITY: This is a full-time, in-person opportunity for a licensed Gas Technician who enjoys hands-on technical work and takes pride in high-quality installations and service. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. This role offers steady weekday hours, on-call rotation opportunities and overtime eligibility in a dynamic and growing environment. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: You have proven experience installing and servicing gas systems and is confident troubleshooting independently in the field. You are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and committed to delivering professional service. You take ownership of your work, communicate effectively with clients and team members, and thrive in a structured yet fast-paced environment. A strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards are essential for success in this role. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Install, maintain, and repair gas systems in compliance with safety regulations and standards ​ • Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance • Troubleshoot issues related to gas and hydronic systems • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and safely • Ensure adherence to all workplace safety protocols • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as required Requirements • Valid Gas Technician License (Gas 2 or Class B) • Proven experience in gas system installation and service • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills • Solid mechanical aptitude • Commitment to workplace safety standards • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong problem-solving skills • Professional communication skills • Valid driver’s license Benefits • Full-time position (40–48 hours per week) ​ • Monday–Friday regular hours • Overtime paid after 48 hours • On-call rotation after hours • Company vehicle provided • Company phone provided • Competitive compensation (based on experience) • Extended health and dental care • Vision care • Life insurance • Employee Assistance Program • RRSP matching program • Paid time off • Company events • On-site parking We thank all candidates for their interest.
