GenAI Engineer – Windsurf & Claude Code

Role: GenAI Engineer – Windsurf & Claude Code Location: Toronto(Hybrid) Responsibilities: Build and harden AI development harnesses using Windsurf and Claude Code. Design, develop, and support AI agents, agent skills, templates, and reusable workflows. Build end-to-end conversational-to-production AI workflows. Apply Commercial GenAI to software engineering, automation, testing, and solution delivery. Develop AI-powered automation for software development and testing processes. Work across Greenfield, Brownfield, legacy modernization, regulatory, and SaaS conversion programs. Translate business and technical requirements into scalable AI-enabled solutions. Create solution architecture, technical design documents, and implementation plans. Identify opportunities to improve developer productivity through AI-assisted engineering. Build robust guardrails, validation mechanisms, and testing approaches to improve the reliability of AI-generated solutions. Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, and business teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions. Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies, agent frameworks, coding assistants, and GenAI capabilities. Required Skills: Hands-on experience with Windsurf and Claude Code. Strong experience in Generative AI / Commercial GenAI. Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and AI agent concepts. Experience building or hardening AI coding harnesses and agent workflows. Experience creating AI agent skills, templates, prompts, and reusable workflows. Experience with conversational-to-production development workflows. Strong software engineering and application development background. Experience with automated testing and AI-driven development automation. Experience working with legacy, Brownfield, and Greenfield applications. Strong solution design and technical documentation skills.
