AWS Engineer

Position: AWS Engineer Location: Scarborough – Hybrid Skills: Strong expertise in AWS CDK (L1 and L2 Constructs). Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and NPM. Experience working with and extending enterprise CDK frameworks, including understanding and leveraging specific CDK wrappers built on top of native AWS CDK constructs. Ability to design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure and platform services using Infrastructure as Code principles. Job Description/ Responsibilities Participate in and drive Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new cloud and GenAI services such as Amazon Bedrock, Agentcore, and related AWS capabilities. Conduct service evaluations and technical feasibility assessments. Analyze and troubleshoot platform and application issues using Amazon CloudWatch logs, metrics, and monitoring tools. Investigate service failures, identify root causes, and recommend remediation strategies to improve platform reliability and operational excellence.
