Third Space Counselling & Mental Health is a growing private practice located in Downtown Vancouver. We support adults and teens using integrative, evidence-based approaches including ACT, IFS, ERP, and EMDR. We're looking to build a team that shares a commitment to thoughtful, LGBTQIA2S+ and culturally affirming client-centred care. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape the culture and clinical direction of a group practice in its early growth stage. The Role We're looking for a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or equivalent (MSW, CCC, or registration-eligible) who specializes in relationship counselling to join us as an Associate. You'll build your own caseload with support from an established referral base, while contributing to the growing clinical identity of a practice. We're specifically looking for someone who is: Trained and experienced in a recognized couples modality (e.g., EFT, Gottman Method, IFS-informed couples work, or similar) LGBTQ2S+ affirming, with lived experience or demonstrated clinical experience with LGBTQ2S+ individuals and couples Comfortable working with a range of relationship structures (monogamous, non-monogamous/polyamorous, etc.) Additional assets (not required, but valued): Fluency in a language other than English Experience with couples navigating major life transitions (parenthood, infidelity repair, blended families, chronic illness, etc.) Interest in eventually offering group work or workshops What We Offer Flexible, self-determined scheduling A modern, professional office space in Downtown Vancouver Support for virtual and in-person work with clients across BC A practice culture that protects clinician well-being (boundaried schedules make for more sustainable care) Input into the direction of the practice as it grows Competitive associate split (60/40) Qualifications Registered (or registration-eligible) as an RCC with BCACC, or equivalent regulatory body (RCSW, CCC, etc.) Specialized training in couples/relationship counselling Comfortable with independent practice management (scheduling, notes, basic admin) within a supportive team structure Alignment with an integrative clinical approach To Apply Please send a resume/CV and a brief cover letter to [email protected].
