We are currently hiring 1 Part-Time Personal Attendant to join our Hamilton Hub and Relay Program with Capability Support Services team. Hamilton Hub provides services to clients within the L8V Postal Code on the Hamilton Mountain and surrounding areas. This program operates 7 days a week and we currently offer a variety of shifts. This includes days, afternoons, and nights, plus every other weekends and statutory holidays. Duties include assisting clients with personal care, arranging and escorting clients to appointments, and housekeeping services. Personal Support Worker certificate is not required but is considered an asset. Under the direction of the program supervisor, this position is responsible for regular monitoring and provision of support to clients to enable them to remain in their own homes and live as independently as possible. Duties include monitoring, observing, assisting with and participating in housekeeping and homemaking activities, recreational and social activities. Such duties are carried out under the direction of the client or alternate decision maker and in accordance with Client Service Contracts, laws and regulations governing service provision. Employment Requirements: Must be available to work all shifts. High School Diploma Courses relating to personal support services for persons with disabilities or seniors, health & safety, first aid, physical and emotional needs of persons is an asset Experience providing support for persons with disabilities or seniors on a paid or voluntary basis either in a work setting or through personal life experiences is beneficial, but not required. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle We are currently hiring to fill an new position on our team.
