Thunderbolt Contracting has been creating beautiful, functional and memorable landscapes in the Ottawa area since 1992. We are currently seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented landscape foreman to be part of our team this spring. Responsibilities:-         Install interlock, retaining walls, concrete, armour stone, etc.-         Install and supervise planting of trees, shrubs, perennials, flowers etc.-         Sod and soil installation.-         Operate equipment including mini ex, skid steers, tampers, diesel plates, sod rollers quick cuts etc.-         Read plans and set grades.-         Maintain professional company image.-         Supervise and motivate your crew.-         Complete and submit paperwork related to any jobs, maintain written time records and work orders.-         Communicate issues relating to employee relations, equipment issues, customer issues ? make suggestions for solutions. Requirements:-         A comprehensive knowledge of health & safety regulations for our profession.-         At least 3-years of experience as a foreman or lead hand.-         Experience operating small equipment an asset.-         A valid G license to operate company vehicles.-         Strong leadership and communication skills. Why you should apply:-         Competitive total compensation package. -         Health and dental benefits. -         Holiday closures. -         Advanced training and opportunities for career advancement.-         Deferred profit-sharing plan.-         Regular team building activities including BBQ?s and sporting events. -         A positive and fun family-oriented environment.If you are looking for a change with a great opportunity for personal growth and success in a team environment, apply today by emailing your resume to [email protected].
