Thyssen Mining is currently seeking experienced, safety-conscious Underground Miners to join our team at mining projects across Ontario. Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting underground development, production, and construction activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workpersonship. If you are a motivated miner who takes pride in working safely and contributing to a productive crew, we want to hear from you. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform underground mining activities in accordance with mine plans, procedures, and safety standards. * Install and maintain ground support systems, including rock bolts, mesh, and screen. * Conduct scaling and workplace inspections. * Operate underground mining equipment as required and qualified. * Perform pre-operational inspections and report equipment deficiencies. * Handle and transport materials, tools, and supplies underground. * Identify, report, and address workplace hazards. * Work effectively as part of a crew to achieve production and development targets. * Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation. QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum 2 years of underground mining experience preferred. * Experience in underground development, production, or construction mining. * Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices. * Ability to perform physically demanding work in an underground environment. * Strong teamwork and communication skills. * Valid driver's licence. * Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core and specialty modules are considered an asset. * First Aid certification is considered an asset. * Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and Drug & Alcohol test.
