SUPERINTENDENT – CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS IN TŁĮCHǪ COMMUNITIES Location: Tłı̨chǫ Region, Northwest Territories Company: Tłı̨chǫ Property Management Job Type: Full-Time | Rotational Work Arrangements Considered BUILD MORE THAN BUILDINGS—BUILD LASTING IMPACT IN NORTHERN COMMUNITIES. Tłı̨chǫ Property Management is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead construction projects in Tłı̨chǫ communities. This is more than a typical construction role, it’s a chance to contribute to community development while honoring Indigenous values and traditions. WHAT YOU'LL DO: * Lead hands-on: Work directly alongside your crew on job sites to set the standard for quality, safety, and teamwork * Guide and mentor: Support the growth of up to two registered apprentices, sharing skills and fostering the next generation of tradespeople * Oversee on-site construction activities for residential, community, and infrastructure projects * Manage diverse teams of workers and subcontractors with a focus on productivity, safety, and excellence * Keep projects on schedule and on budget, coordinating materials, trades, and resources * Ensure full compliance with building codes, safety standards, and cultural guidelines * Engage with Tłı̨chǫ community leaders and residents to build trust and ensure the work aligns with local values WHO YOU ARE: * A Red Seal Carpenter with at least 5 years of construction experience (3+ in a supervisory role) * Familiar with the dynamics of working in remote or Indigenous communities * A strong communicator and team leader, with a deep understanding of construction safety, quality control, and resource management * A collaborative professional who respects and integrates Indigenous culture and community input into every project * Certified or willing to obtain NWT Supervisor Level 2 and other safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid) WHY JOIN TPM? * Be part of a team making a positive, tangible difference in Northern Tłı̨chǫ communities * Enjoy a competitive compensation package with rotational work flexibility * Work in a role where your leadership, trade expertise, and cultural awareness are deeply valued * Help build safe, lasting infrastructure that reflects community priorities and pride READY TO BRING YOUR SKILLS NORTH AND LEAD WITH PURPOSE?
