Position Overview: As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of Heavy Equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet safety standards. Responsibilities: Diagnosis and Repairs: Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment Routine Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance tasks Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services Adherence to Safety Standards: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain an organized workspace. Collaboration: Work closely with our team of mechanics, field members and management to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize fleet performance. Equipment Inspections: Review pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address potential problems before they escalate. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with a variety of heavy-duty vehicle systems, including engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and braking systems. Reliable and safety conscious Experience in the Heavy Civil Industry is an asset Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
