Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Counter Person - Coeur Mining to join our team! The Parts Counter Person - Coeur Mining plays a vital role in customer service at our Branch as the key customer contact for advising and distributing parts and consistently providing superior service. Note: This position will be rotational as it is working at a remote site. Pay Type Full Time, Permanent Compensation $49,845.00 to $62,305.00 The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available. As a Parts Counter Person - Coeur Mining, YOU will experience: * Working within one of the safest organizations in the industry where your safety and well-being are our most important priority * Working for the best in class equipment dealer and with the premium Caterpillar brand * Opportunities to continuously Learn, Grow and Develop with our Toromont team through our internal Training teams that are geared for your success * Competitive total rewards including: wages, benefits, and premiums (as eligible) * An opportunity for flexible work schedules and opportunities across multiple locations across Eastern Canada In a typical day, YOU will: * Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives * Enhance our customer's experience and commitment to brand loyalty by providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions * Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectively over the parts counter, through email and by phone in a timely and courteous manner * Manage the daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring and ordering parts, following up on backorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warranties as well as building hydraulic hoses for both internal and external customers * Provide on call service as required, at times on weekends and evenings * Rotation 14/14, 12 hours/day Must-haves for this role: * Minimum post-secondary education * 3+ years of experience in a parts service role * Knowledge of the following system DBS, SIS, Word & Excel About Toromont Cat With over 7,000 employees and 56 locations from Manitoba to Newfoundland, Toromont Cat has a proven track record, industry knowledge, dealership infrastructure, and service mindset to ensure our Construction, Mining, and Power Generation customers succeed.
