Employer Overview Total Oilfield Rentals (TOR) offers rental and transportation of drilling, completion, water management and production equipment to the oil and natural gas industry throughout Western Canada and the Northwestern United States. Our mission is to exceed customer expectations by supplying superior rental equipment, transportation services and product support. Position Summary Total Oilfield Rentals is currently looking for a Texas Bed Truck Driver to join our team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, Texas Bed Truck Drivers are responsible for the safe and professional transportation of equipment in compliance with company and customer policies and procedures as well as government regulation. This is a fulltime position, based out of our Leduc location. Time Commitment This role is subject to Federal Hours of Service regulations. You may be required from time to time to work outside these hours as the need arises and is subject to manager approval. Schedule may be altered at the discretion of management. Summary of Duties (Duties may include, but are not limited to the following): * Safely drive heavy trucks (Class 1) on lease roads and highways, performing pre/post-trip inspections. * Hook up trailers, deck/undeck equipment, use winches and chains to secure heavy items (pipes, components). * Set up and operate Texas rigging and winches for lifting and moving heavy loads. * Adhere to HSE policies, identify hazards, chain up in mud/ice, and ensure surrounding worker safety. * Complete logs (ELDs), invoices, hazard IDs, and other required documentation. * Liaise with onsite reps, organize loads, and potentially guide a swamper.
