Job Details Part-Time (Non-Union T) Posting Status Open to all current Town of Oakville employees and external applicants. Closing Date Applications for this position must be received at oakville.ca by no later than 11:59 pm on December 31, 2026. This posting is for current and future opportunities and will be filled on an as needed basis. Applications will be considered for any openings that become available between now and December 31, 2026. Job Responsibilities Under the direct supervision of the League Convener for all Oakville Recreational Leagues, the timekeeper will control the score clock and monitor the game activity. Key task and responsibilities involve monitoring the games and record all statistical information. This includes but is not limited to: Goals/Assists Points Penalties Game Misconducts Final Score Control the score clock Make sure that the referees and players sign the game sheet Return all game sheet information to the League Convener Qualifications Knowledge of hockey, basketball, volleyball and/or pickleball rules and leagues. Previous Timekeeping experience an asset Experience in customer service an asset Data Entry and Processing skills Time Requirements 3 – 4 hours a shift Shifts available Monday - Sat Commitment of 24 weeks Available to work evenings Please note that this position requires a satisfactory criminal record check dated within the last 30 days as a condition of employment.
