Key Responsibilities Support newcomers with settlement needs, information, referrals, and general inquiries Assist with immigration navigation and accessing community resources Connect newcomers with language, employment, career, and other support services Conduct needs assessments and provide ongoing client support Travel throughout the region to meet with clients who are unable to travel Develop partnerships with community organizations, service providers, and employers Participate in community outreach, committees, and planning initiatives Maintain client files, statistics, reports, social media, and resource information Provide general administrative and office support Looking for someone who is: A strong communicator and relationship builder Organized, compassionate, and client-focused Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Knowledgeable about community resources and settlement services Culturally aware and respectful of diverse backgrounds Flexible and willing to travel throughout the region Fluent in English; additional language skills are an asset Experienced working with newcomers or diverse communities Requirements: -An undergraduate degree (not restricted to, but preferably) in one of the following areas: Commerce, Education, English Language Arts, International Studies, Indigenous Studies, Women and Gender Studies, Social Work or Psychology-1-2 years experience in the non-profit sector (preferably related to newcomers)-An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience will be considered-Criminal record check (vulnerable sector included)-Class 5 Drivers License-Access to a vehicle
