Job Details Location: 15930 Fort Road NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y 6A2 Work Location: On-site Position: Permanent, Full-time Vacancies: 1 Start Date: As soon as possible Salary: $37.70 per hour Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week Schedule: Early Mornings, Mornings, Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends Overview Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years On site - Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Tasks Professionalism in customer service Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Transport and handle dangerous goods Credentials: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Documentation Knowledge Accident or incident reports Bill of lading Driver logbook Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Trip reports Communication Systems Experience Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Security And Safety Driver's validity licence check Driving record check (abstract) How to apply: delmanntransport@gmail.com

Requires a Class 1 or A Driver's License with an Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and 1 to 2 years of experience. Candidates must have a secondary school diploma and a clean driving record.
