Job Description Communications Specialist About Toyota Financial Services Toyota Financial Services (TFS) provides retail, leasing and wholesale financial services to Toyota and Lexus dealerships and customers across Canada. TFS currently has an exciting permanent opportunity as a Communications Specialist, reporting to the Vice President, Legal. This role resides in our Markham Head Office. The successful candidate will assume a key role in the development and implementation of effective internal and external communications in support of TFS’ strategic objectives. What You Will Be Doing Internal Communications Develop, coordinate, and oversee key internal employee communications, including HR communications, corporate announcements, and initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with TFS priorities. Support executive communications by partnering with leaders to prepare messaging, presentations, and materials for internal meetings and events. Plan and manage the Annual Associate Town Hall, whether in person or hybrid, to support clear corporate messaging and meaningful associate engagement in partnership with corporate strategy. Coordinate monthly associate meetings, including presentation and content development. Manage the creation, review, and distribution of internal communications through the company intranet site, MY Toolbox. Provide communications support for organizational change initiatives, including communication planning, key messages, materials, presentations, and stakeholder guidance. Conduct research, gather feedback, and analyze communication effectiveness to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Provide communications support for employee engagement events and related communications throughout the year. External Communications Support the Dealer Services team with the planning, coordination, and implementation of Dealer Satisfaction Surveys. Partner with Dealer Services and TCCI executives to support presentations and communication materials for dealer and distributor partner meetings, conferences, and events across Toyota, Lexus, Subaru and Mazda brands. Develop, maintain, and apply brand guidelines, ensuring alignment with global standards and distributor partner requirements. What You Bring Post-secondary diploma/degree with concentration in Communications, Journalism or Public Relations preferred Minimum 3-5 years in a Communications role(s) either internal or external focus required Experience working with senior executives and diverse stakeholders. Ability to work across TFS to build alignment and consensus on key communication initiatives.
