WE’RE HIRING: Financial Market Research & Content Manager Calling all Vancouver content creators, UBC Sauder and SFU Beedie students and grads who are passionate about financial markets, social media, and startups. 📍 Downtown Vancouver | Full-Time | In-Person Only Are you an early-career stock market and trading enthusiast who wants to build a career in fintech, financial media, content creation, or startup marketing? Trading Terminal is looking for a driven, curious, and highly adaptable person to join our Vancouver team. This opportunity may be especially well suited for UBC or SFU students and recent graduates who follow the U.S. stock market, understand the world of retail trading, and want to learn by working directly inside a fast-moving fintech startup. We own one of North America’s largest online trading communities, established in 2016. Trading Terminal is our growing fintech platform built for active retail traders. You will work directly with the founder of Trading Terminal, our Head of Product, and our Head of Marketing. This role offers hands-on exposure to retail trading, financial market research, social media growth, content production, product marketing, and startup operations. Your three main areas of focus 1. Grow Trading Terminal’s “FinTwit” and organic audience Develop and execute content for X and other social media platforms, with a particular focus on reaching active traders and the FinTwit community. “FinTwit” is a very specific content niche. Interested candidates must know what FinTwit is and demonstrate understanding of the type of financial news and trading content X users engage with. 2. Create original financial market content Research and produce timely market commentary, data-driven posts, financial graphics, and unique insights that can earn attention and generate meaningful discussion. You should be able to follow major market events, identify developing narratives, and think ahead about the stories traders will care about. Content includes social media posts, newsletter, graphics and videos. 3. Support the growth of Trading Terminal and Bear Bull Traders Work closely with our Head of Marketing on campaigns, product launches, social media initiatives, and other growth projects across both brands. You may be a strong fit if you: Are genuinely excited about the U.S. stock market, financial news, and retail trading Follow market-moving events and enjoy forming your own observations Enjoy writing, researching, and creating financial graphics Have experience producing content for X, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, or other platforms Learn quickly and are comfortable receiving direct feedback Can collaborate closely, communicate clearly, and deliver work quickly Have a growth mindset and actively look for ways to improve Are comfortable with trial and error and the principles of continuous improvement Can adapt when priorities or daily responsibilities change Prefer doing, testing, and improving over spending excessive time planning Startup operations move quickly. Your responsibilities may evolve as the company grows, so flexibility and initiative are essential. Our approach to AI We actively use AI tools, but we are not looking for generic, low-effort AI content. AI becomes effective when it is guided by strong research, thoughtful prompts, sound judgment, creativity, and personal perspective. We want someone who uses AI to improve their work, not replace the thinking behind it. Other technical skillsets: Photo editing (Photoshop or equivalent tools) Video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro or equivalent tools) Other social media toolkits including but not limited to YouTube Studio, Instagram, X and Google Slides. AI prompt engineering using LLMs and ability to train your own LLM as your best technical tool Location requirement This is a fully in-person position at our office in Downtown Vancouver. Compensation and benefits Full-time T4 employment Salary of $60,000–$70,000 CADSalary: $60,000 to $100,000 CAD. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's skills, experience, and overall qualifications. Grow the company's organic audience on X (FinTwit) and other social platforms through targeted financial content. Research and produce timely market commentary, graphics, and videos to support the growth of Trading Terminal and Bear Bull Traders.

Candidates should be early-career enthusiasts of the U.S. stock market and retail trading with experience in social media content production. Proficiency in tools like Photoshop, CapCut, and LLMs for prompt engineering is required.
