What You Will Do Lead the service business within the assigned area to achieve growth targets in revenue, profitability, workforce planning, and talent development. Own area P&L performance, including monthly revenue forecasting, expense management, and delivery against annual operating plans. Drive growth in service agreements, repair, retrofit, installation, and turnkey opportunities in close partnership with the Sales and acquisition teams. Serve as a key customer contact for escalations, major projects, and strategic service opportunities, ensuring strong customer relationships and high levels of satisfaction. Manage area budgets and control overhead expenses, including fleet, uniforms, tools, training, and safety equipment. Mitigate operational and commercial risk across service agreements, repair work, and turnkey projects. Oversee service coordination and resource planning to ensure timely customer response, effective technician deployment, balanced workloads, and efficient use of area resources. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing service team by attracting, coaching, counseling, training, and retaining talent. Drive continuous improvement through performance management, skills development, technical training, and standard work processes. Ensure technician capabilities are aligned with customer and business needs, including technical, process, and customer service skills. Partner with area leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure margin expectations are achieved during both sales and execution activities. Promote operational discipline and ensure standard service processes are consistently followed across the area. Champion environmental, health, and safety compliance by reinforcing policies, delivering training, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment in both shop and field settings. Travel to customer sites as required to support the team, engage customers, and oversee operations. What You Will Bring 5+ years of experience in HVAC, building systems, service operations, skilled trades, or a related technical field. 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing teams in a service, operations, or field-based environment. Strong business and financial acumen, including experience with P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and annual operating plans. Demonstrated ability to grow service business through customer relationship management, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration. Experience managing projects, service execution, and customer requests in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills, with the ability to build engaged and accountable teams. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance customer needs, operational priorities, and business objectives. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with Salesforce or similar business systems is an asset. Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months, with an acceptable driving record. Practical experience, relevant leadership capability, and strong alignment with our leadership principles. Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French are required.
