Job Description In collaboration with the Manager, Crew Scheduling, the incumbent plays a key role in supporting and guiding Crew Scheduling Coordinators while ensuring the smooth execution of daily crew operations. The person acts as a subject matter expert, promotes compliance with collective agreements and Transport Canada regulations, and contributes to the development of team knowledge and operational excellence. Responsabilities Support, coach, and guide Crew Scheduling Coordinators in their day-to-day activities. Ensure the smooth execution of daily crew scheduling operations and assist in resolving operational challenges. Promote and ensure compliance with crew collective agreements and Transport Canada regulations. Coordinate onboarding, training, and knowledge development activities for Crew Scheduling Coordinators. Monitor crew qualifications, training requirements, and flight training follow-ups for flight crew members. Maintain and update operational procedures, documentation, and SharePoint resources. Oversee the quality of crew travel and accommodation bookings and ensure appropriate follow-up when required. Collaborate with internal departments, unions, suppliers, and operational partners to coordinate special operations and subcontracted activities. Qualifications High school diploma. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in crew management or a related airline operations environment. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Transport Canada regulated environment. Minimum of one (1) year of experience leading, coaching, or supervising a team. Excellent knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and crew collective agreements (Flight Attendants and Pilots). Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and prioritization skills. Excellent proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and demonstrated ease with collaborative digital tools and AI solutions. Knowledge of AIMS and Sabre is considered an asset. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies. Oral and written fluency in French and English*. Additional Information *A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
