Toronto, ON* *Join Our Christ-Centred Learning Community* Tree of Life Montessori Academy is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated *Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)* to join our team *effective immediately*. This position is ideal for an RECE who enjoys working alongside Montessori educators in a Christ-centred environment. You will support the daily operation of our Montessori classrooms while helping create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. *Position Responsibilities* * Support the Montessori Instructor in the daily operation of the classroom. * Help prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Montessori learning environment. * Supervise and engage with children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, rest time, and daily routines. * Build caring, respectful relationships with children and encourage independence through positive guidance. * Observe children's learning and share observations with the teaching team. * Assist with classroom documentation, attendance, daily reports, and incident reporting. * Maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment by following CCEYA, Ministry of Education, Toronto Public Health, and centre policies. * Communicate professionally with families and fellow staff members. * Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events. * Work collaboratively with the teaching team to support each child's individual growth and development. *QualificationsRequired* * Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) * Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C Certification * Valid Vulnerable Sector Check * Strong knowledge of child development and early learning * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Positive, caring, and professional attitude * Commitment to supporting a Christ-centred learning environment *Assets* * Experience working in a licensed childcare centre * Montessori experience or an interest in Montessori education * French or another language is an asset *Why Join Tree of Life Montessori Academy?* At Tree of Life Montessori Academy, you will become part of a supportive Christian community that values faith, teamwork, and excellence in early childhood education.
