The Blueprint The Project Manager is responsible for autonomously leading medium to large scope projects from Pre-Launch Stage to completion of Occupancy and Project Close Out Stage meeting quality, timing, and project objectives as well as directing a small team. A Glimpse into Your Daily Activities Ensure safety excellence at all times. Lead the entire project in accordance with the design specifications, project plans, quality objectives and schedules (Design Guide, Tridel Way) Direct and manage a team of Assistant Project Managers and Project Coordinators. Analyze, interpret, and advise on all documentation, drawings, design specifications, client and sub-trade meetings. Assist in the conceptualization of the project. Lead process for tender review and contract negotiations. Negotiate and establish fee arrangements with the consultants and manage performance. Promote a customer focus and exceptional quality theme withing the project team. Communicate and resolve conflicts in project progress, working collaboratively with Site Construction Management. The Architect of Your Success Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the real estate, property development, or construction industry. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI. In-depth knowledge of the specific industry or sector in which the projects will be undertaken. Expert on full project cycle, including scoping and defining work into well-defined, critical milestones and timeframes. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a project team to achieve goals and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Proven ability to analyze complex situations, identify challenges, and implement effective solutions. Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects concurrently. Experience in fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Understanding of risk management principles and experience in mitigating project risks. Proficiency in budgeting and financial management related to projects. Thrive in high-pressure situations, responding effectively to changing priorities. Ability to operate autonomously, independently managing day-to-day responsibilities. Skill in discerning and escalating unusual or highly complex issues to the appropriate level.
