Health Information Management Instructor- Remote

Job Title: Health Information Management Instructor Location: Remote Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm EST Start Date: September 14, 2026 End Date: February 12, 2026 Compensation: $40/ hr The Opportunity: The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide quality delivery of assigned Health Information Management courses utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques, and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and grading class tests, assignments, and exams. What you bring to the position: Certified as a Health Information Management Professional with the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA). Minimum 2 years of experience working in Health Information Management. Must have hands-on experience with health information management coding and classification systems. The instructor is responsible for delivering Health Information Management courses using various instructional strategies to meet student learning styles. They must also manage classroom activities, including taking daily attendance and grading tests, assignments, and exams.

Candidates must be certified as a Health Information Management Professional with CHIMA and possess at least two years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience with health information management coding and classification systems is mandatory.
