Learn more at www.turris-group.com. The Role We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with deep, hands-on experience in the tower industry. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on technical depth. We need someone who has spent years solving hard tower and foundation problems and can act as the technical authority our junior engineers, clients, and contractors turn to when a project hits something difficult. This is an on-site position based in our Georgetown office. Face-to-face collaboration is central to how our team works, and we need someone who wants to be in the room with the rest of the team. Responsibilities Lead structural design, analysis, and technical review of communication towers, monopoles, guyed masts, and their foundations, including drawings, specifications, reports, estimates, and schedules Review and stamp structural analysis reports and drawing packages, taking professional responsibility for their accuracy and code compliance Act as the senior technical escalation point for junior engineers, clients, suppliers, and contractors on difficult structural and code-compliance questions Coordinate the delivery of multiple concurrent design and construction projects through all execution stages Provide structural analysis and feasibility assessments for equipment additions, reinforcing, and modifications to existing structures Report project progress, risks, and technical issues to management Mentor and train junior engineers, inspectors, and detailers, reviewing their work for accuracy and code compliance Qualifications and Skills 8+ years of structural engineering experience in steel design, tower design, and foundations, with substantial, direct experience in the communication or transmission tower industry A track record of solving complex, non-standard tower engineering problems, not just routine design work Strong knowledge of resistance and material theory, and steel and concrete design Extensive, working knowledge of the CISC Handbook, AISC, CSA-S37, and TIA-222 codes and industry practices, mandatory Experience with TSTower software is an asset Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or higher Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Ontario required; additional licenses in other Canadian provinces or U.S. states are an asset Valid G driver's license required for site visits Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
