Physiotherapist, School Therapy Services

We are currently recruiting to fill two a Physiotherapist positions in School Therapy Services: One regular, full-time (37.5 hours per week) position with a designated office of Stratford. Services are provided in Huron and Perth counties. One regular, part-time (30 hours per week) position with a designated office of Owen Sound. Services are provided in Grey and Bruce counties. These positions are expected to begin in September 2026. These positions are based on the school year and no work is available during school breaks, including July and August. This exciting role provides therapy services to students in schools and involves working with a variety of fellow clinicians, educators and parents to help children and youth participate in their school environment. Responsibilities Provide individualized school-based intervention in a direct/mediated/consultative approach, as well as provide consultative intervention at the classroom/school level Assess, advise and provide education to school personnel, clients/families and others in areas including mobility, transfers, gross motor skills, respiratory skills, etc. Make recommendations for equipment, accessibility, assistance, exercise, activity, positioning, chest clearance, etc. Prepare and support children and families in the transition to school and throughout school life; Plan services as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes the family, other care providers, school board personnel, volunteers, staff from other agencies, and other TVCC staff; Participate in ongoing program development; Clinical supervision of support personnel and students within the guidelines of The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario may be required Qualifications Registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario Experience in pediatrics is preferred Excellent organizational skills; Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to work well within an inter-professional team; Computer proficiency including Office 365 and videoconferencing software (ex. Teams) Valid Ontario driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are required Current First Aid and CPR certification Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis Ability to provide services in French would be considered an asset Salary range: $40.61 - $50.76/hour

Provide individualized school-based physiotherapy interventions and consultative support to students, educators, and families. Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate student participation in the school environment and support transitions.

Must be registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and possess a valid driver's license with a vehicle. Pediatric experience and French language proficiency are considered assets.
