Overview The Tyndale Company, an industry-leading employer and multiple Top Workplace winner, is looking for a detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to join our production team! In this hands-on role, you’ll help create high-quality, customized garments by operating embroidery equipment and ensuring every logo is applied accurately and meets our quality standards. From setting up garments and selecting designs to monitoring production and inspecting finished embroidery, your attention to detail will help ensure our customers receive products that look great and are completed on time. No previous embroidery machine experience is required. Responsibilities Organize daily workflow to support efficient, on-time embroidery production; Review work orders to identify the correct logo, colors, placement, and embroidery specifications for each garment; Prepare garments for embroidery by properly positioning and securing embroidery hoops; Scan work orders and enter the appropriate designs and specifications into embroidery equipment using specialized software; Verify logo placement and alignment before beginning production; Operate and closely monitor embroidery machines to ensure equipment is functioning properly and garments are produced accurately; Inspect finished embroidery for quality, placement, alignment, and consistency; Identify production or equipment issues and partner with production leadership to resolve them; Perform routine daily maintenance on embroidery equipment; Trim backing materials from garments as needed during production; Maintain appropriate levels of thread, backing, and other supplies at the workstation; Communicate and collaborate with team members to keep production moving efficiently; Meet established production and quality standards; Support additional production projects and responsibilities as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Previous embroidery machine experience is a plus, but not required; Excellent attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work; Ability to remain focused and attentive while operating production equipment; Basic computer skills and ability to learn specialized production software; Ability to meet established production standards while maintaining quality expectations; Knowledge of fabrics and their characteristics is a plus, but not required; Experience with embroidery software or Microsoft Excel is a plus; Ability to safely lift up to 20 pounds without assistance. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This is a physically active production position performed in a pleasant, temperature-controlled environment. The role requires standing throughout the workday and regularly working with embroidery equipment, garments, and production materials.
