Job Description As a Warehouse Process and Systems Specialist you will be responsible for identifying and improving operations processes to deliver increased quality, efficiency and profitability. This position is located at the NAPA Moncton Distribution Center. Your role will be to work on identifying and improving operation processes to deliver better quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. You will also be responsible for documenting all Standardized Operating Procedures (SOP) and IT systems related to all aspects of the Distribution Centres’ operations. You will be responsible for identifying and correcting system related anomalies and ensuring that the WMS meets operational needs (routing, location, maintenance, slotting) of the DC’s and readjusting the system if needed. Responsibilities: Identify improvement opportunities in the areas of quality, cost, and performance in improving process metrics Conduct analysis of the needs, identifying « root-cause» problems, suggesting solutions and translating them into processes, systems, and procedures Responsible for the implementation of 5S process in the facility Maintain and promote productivity and quality metrics, and create, generate reports/queries if needed Develop, maintain, and review standard operation procedures (SOP) as well as training documents to be used at Regional and National levels. The person in this role will represent the DC’s at the National level, for consulting purposes, or for implementing new projects or system changes Train, advise and coach DC employees, carriers and customers on procedures and systems in place. They will act as facilitators for the introduction of these changes Ensure maintenance of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and adjust according to the daily needs of the DC’s Qualifications To join our team, you need, among other things: Diploma in administration, operations management (GOP) or industrial engineering combined with 2 years of experience Good management of process and performance indicators and an understanding of Lean Six Sigma Bilingualism, French and English, because as part of your duties you will have to collaborate frequently with colleagues across Canada is considered an asset.
