Our client is seeking a senior SAP / ERP Readiness & Change Management Lead to support a major ERP transformation initiative in Vancouver. The consultant will lead an approximately six-month pre-implementation readiness effort focused on preparing the organization, its processes, and its employees for an upcoming SAP implementation. The role will combine PMO leadership, organizational change management, process improvement, and ERP readiness, with particular emphasis on procurement and inventory management. This is not a technical SAP configuration role. The consultant will lead an existing five-person key-user team, establish governance, improve process discipline, support training and adoption, and help employees transition toward future-state ERP processes. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a senior transformation professional who has personally led ERP/SAP readiness, PMO, change management, or business-process transformation initiatives within operationally complex organizations. They should be comfortable working across all levels of an organization—from frontline operational teams to senior executives—and able to translate future ERP requirements into practical changes in day-to-day processes. Qualifications Significant experience leading ERP/SAP transformation, implementation readiness, or organizational change-management initiatives Strong PMO, project governance, and stakeholder-management capabilities Experience improving and standardizing business processes ahead of an ERP implementation Working knowledge of procurement / procure-to-pay and inventory-management processes Ability to drive process compliance, training, adoption, and behavioral change Experience leading internal project teams or key-user groups Strong executive communication skills, including preparing steering committee materials and presentations Ability to work effectively with both frontline employees and senior leadership SAP experience preferred; broader modern ERP experience may also be considered Project Details: Start: ASAP Duration: ~6 months with potential extension up to 12 months Time commitment: 40 hours/week Location: ~4 days/week onsite in Vancouver, BC Project ID#: 9354 This is a 1099 contract role and does not offer health insurance
