Your Key Accountabilities This position is responsible for: Inspection of finished goods to ensure that stamping, packaging, and labeling standards are met Following all safety rules and guidelines Producing products that meet Umicore quality standards and within customer specifications Responsible for keeping work area and other areas clean and organized Other duties as assigned 12-hour continental shifts Commit to upholding, respecting, and ensuring compliance with the health and safety standards established by the company guidelines. Actively promote a culture of care by collaborating on preventative measures and continuous improvement actions related to health and safety activities Who we are looking for Education and ExperienceThis position's education and experience requirements are: Grade 12 diploma 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of 5S a plus Computer literacy – Preferably with Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook) Knowledge of SAP and experience in quality environment systems are preferred Criminal Record Check required CompetenciesThe competencies required for this role: Highly motivated Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to show initiative and innovative thinking Comfortable standing for long periods of time Batch-making experience is an asset Ability to work alone The hourly starting rate for this position is $22.29-27.86 plus a monthly premium of $752.46 This is a replacement position. This position is responsible for inspecting finished goods to ensure they meet quality and packaging standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area. The operator must also adhere to all safety guidelines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates must have a Grade 12 diploma and 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of SAP or quality systems are preferred.
