About the position: As part of the Key Account team, the position will be responsible for managing key forestry and terminal customers throughout Western Canada. This role serves as a primary point of contact for forestry and North Vancouver terminal customers, building strong relationships, understanding business needs, and ensuring a high level of service and account satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with corporate contacts to coordinate field account activity, price management, RFP submissions and conduct regular business reviews. Collaboration is a key component in this role, as you will interact with internal commercial leadership, account managers and cross-functional teams. This position requires strong organizational skills, and a proactive and eager approach to managing relationships and opportunities. What you’ll do: Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate accounts, while building strategic relationships with key decision makers within customer organizations. Proactively plan customer visits at the corporate and field level throughout Western Canada. Arrange frequent joint calls with internal Account Managers and Sales Leadership Lead regular business reviews, performance updates, and RFP submissions to drive account alignment and long-term value Coordinate internally with sales, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution and on-time delivery Co-ordinate with district teams and various department to ensure availability of product, order execution and strategic price management. Utilize Salesforce.com to manage customer information during all planning phases Stay informed on market trends, regulatory considerations, and customer industry development relevant to chemical distribution Other tasks as assigned What we would like from you: University Degree or College Diploma in a related field Minimum of 3-5 years of previous outside sales experience preferred Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across sales, operations, and internal support teams Self-starter with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive results Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of prioritizing multiple accounts and deadlines effectively Proven ability to plan, lead, and run effective customer meetings, including setting agendas, facilitating discussions, and driving clear next steps Demonstrates a consistently positive, professional attitude and a customer-first mindset Well-spoken with strong communication skills, confident engaging with customers both verbally and in writing Pay and Benefits: The annual expected salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
