Director, Regulatory Trade Reporting (CAPITAL MARKETS) TORONTO HYBRID Overview Director, Regulatory Trade Reporting Change will direct the end-to-end change agenda for global regulatory trade/transaction reporting within Capital Markets. This senior role drives complex initiatives, translating regulatory requirements into efficient technology and operating models. You will partner with Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure compliance and robust reporting, managing risks and delivering on audit findings. Key ACCOUNTABILITIES Portfolio Management: Oversee global regulatory change initiatives, including multi-jurisdictional mandates (DFA, CFTC, SEC, OSC, EMIR, MAS, HKMA, ASIC, MIFID II, SFTR, SEC10C-1a) and govern testing/validation. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as primary liaison to internal teams (Operations, Compliance, Technology) and provide executive-level updates to stakeholders. Risk & Data Controls: Drive remediation of audit findings and improve data quality (LEI, UTI, UPI), utilizing technology to enhance reporting efficiency. YOUR EXPERTISE 15+ years in Capital Markets, leading regulatory trade reporting /market-structure change programs. Current/thorough knowledge of global trade reporting frameworks (Dodd-Frank, CFTC, SEC, OSC/CIRO, EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR, MAS, ASIC.) and Technical knowledge of trade reporting connectivity and platforms (e.g., SDRs/TRs/ARMs such as DTCC, Unavista, etc), including integration patterns, message/format considerations, and downstream reporting controls. Leadership: Proven track record in managing. Mentoring and building teams, work with cross functional executives in executing and delivering strategy Due to the overwhelming volume of responses, we cannot respond to everyone, only those applicants selected for interviews will be contacted.
