School Psychology Adjunct Faculty, 2026-2027

Position Summary The Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Teaching and Learning Sciences department, School Psychology program. Courses may vary. This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Basic Teaching Duties * Teach graduate level courses * Collaborate with faculty course lead to adapt and deliver course; * Create and maintain course Canvas container; * Meet with students as needed * Respond to student communication in timely manner; * Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate; * Grade in a timely manner * Maintain regular communication with the faculty lead, particularly if a student related issue arises Required Qualifications * Masters or terminal degree (depending on the course) * Teaching or clinic experience Preferred Qualifications * Teaching experience in both birth- 12 setting and higher education * Experience with inclusive pedagogy and commitment to inclusion * Experience using technology to facilitate adult learning * Content expertise (depending on the course—e.g. assessment, counselling etc.) Application Deadline Applications are currently being accepted and reviewed for the 2026-2027 academic year on a rolling basis. Course Rate The course rate for this position is $1,290 per credit hour taught The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, available market information, and course enrollment but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status. The adjunct instructor will teach graduate-level courses in the School Psychology program and collaborate with faculty leads to deliver course content. Responsibilities include managing the Canvas container, grading assignments, and maintaining timely communication with students.

Candidates must hold a Master's or terminal degree relevant to the course content. Previous teaching or clinical experience is required, with preference given to those with experience in birth-12 settings and higher education.
