Prerequisite: ENVE 3121 and ENVE 3123 with a minimum grade of C.This course covers the theoretical aspects of unit operations and processes for wastewater treatment with design applications. Topics include wastewater characteristics, flow rates, primary treatment, chemical unit processes, biological treatment processes, advanced wastewater treatment, disinfection, biosolids treatment and disposal. Laboratory procedures involve activated sludge, anaerobic growth, chemical precipitation, disinfection. Note: Credit cannot be counted for both ENVE 3322 and ENVT 3322. Prerequisite: ENVE 3121 and ENVE 3123 with a minimum grade of C.Masters degree in Engineering or Science and/or related experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained a P. Eng. or who are eligible to do so.
