Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate. These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay. These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification. The proctor is responsible for supervising final and mid-term examinations for science courses. They must ensure the integrity of the exam environment according to departmental guidelines.

Candidates must be current students at the University of Ottawa, with graduate students eligible for a higher pay rate. Applicants are required to complete all mandatory legislated training provided by the university.
