Entrepreneurship Program Coordinator, Edwards School of Business Summary: The entrepreneurship program coordinator supports the establishment, coordination, and delivery of entrepreneurship programming within the Slogotski Hunt Centre for Entrepreneurship. This role contributes to the development and administration of programs, events, workshops, and initiatives that support entrepreneurs and the university entrepreneurial ecosystem. The coordinator maintains program records, tracks performance metrics, contributes to the development of program materials, and supports operational activities that facilitate university-wide entrepreneurial activities. This position coordinates program schedules, documentation, communications, and logistics while contributing to stakeholder engagement and participant support. Duties and Responsibilities: Assists with the coordination and logistics of entrepreneurship programs, workshops, webinars, events, and related initiatives that support entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial activities across the university. Plans and coordinates end-to-end event logistics, including vendor research and selection, venue arrangements, budget tracking and reporting, timeline coordination, day-of support, and post-event evaluations. Researches, analyzes, and tracks program metrics and key performance indicators to support program evaluation and reporting. Contributes to the development and maintenance of program documents, guidelines, reports, presentations, and other materials. Coordinates program and leadership calendars, scheduling meetings and program sessions, identifying conflicts, preparing and distributing meeting materials, and following up on action items. Supports stakeholder engagement activities through communications with program participants, partners, funders, and other university stakeholders. Responds to inquiries received through various communication channels and provides information and support to stakeholders and event participants. Attends entrepreneurship ecosystem events and engagement opportunities to build and maintain positive relationships with community leaders, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders on and off campus. Supports financial and administrative processes, such as travel and expense requests and reimbursements, event registrations, payment processing, financial reconciliations, and participant onboarding activities. Enters and maintains records within the registration database system. Provides general administrative support for the office, such as ordering supplies, arranging courier services, recording meeting minutes, booking meeting spaces, and coordinating catering services. Communicates and acts in a respectful and professional manner, collaborates effectively, abides by policy, and contributes to a positive and productive work and learning environment. Engages in continuous learning by participating in activities, training, and events related to Indigenous engagement, reconciliation, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Demonstrates respect and dignity for all members of the community, actively contributes to an environment of acceptance and inclusion of others, and responds to different perspectives from a place of curiosity, respect, and non-judgement. Undertakes related duties, as assigned, consistent with the nature of the position. Qualifications: An office administration diploma; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Minimum of one year of related experience with project coordination, event management, or program support, preferably within a post-secondary, entrepreneurial or similarly complex environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to analyze information, track metrics, and prepare reports. Effective problem-solving and organizational abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools. Familiarity with entrepreneurship, innovation, startup ecosystems, or business support programs is an asset. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and design and web-based applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
