Here’s our Current Opening: Position: Law & eCommerce Associate Reports to: Senior Store Manager Division: Retail Location: Law Bookstore & St. George Koffler Bookstore Here's What You'll Be Doing: You'll support operations at the Law Bookstore, including opening and closing the store, merchandising the product, assisting with customer inquiries or concerns, and processing point-of-sale (POS) transactions. In this role you'll receive and ship transfer orders in coordination with our other locations, and work with couriers to arrange pickups and drop-offs. The ideal candidate will be excited to build and maintain relationships with the students, faculty, and staff at the Law School. You will also support the fulfillment of online orders outside of the Law School Store operating store hours, along with supporting the eCommerce team at our St. George location assisting with their online orders. Hourly Rate: $18.25 Key Responsibilities * Greet customers and provide prompt, professional assistance in person. * Operate a point-of-sale (POS) terminal and process all forms of payment accurately. * Conduct store opening and closing tasks as directed. * Answer customer questions and ensure all service interactions are resolved effectively in person, over the phone and via email. * Pick and pack merchandise for web and in-store orders. * Fulfill ecommerce transactions through our ERP system. * Unpack, stock, and merchandise product. * Maintain accurate shelving and organization of text books. * File and document invoices with our accounting team. * Maintain housekeeping and presentation standards. * Other related duties as assigned. Education, Qualifications and Experience * Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred. * This role involves moving and handling merchandise and materials up to 15 kg. * This role requires remaining active throughout the shift. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes * Customer-focused and motivated, with a commitment to professional service. * Effective interpersonal and communication skills. * Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a busy environment. * Self-directed, open to feedback, and uses sound judgment. * Able to regularly move between locations on campus approximately 800 meters apart. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or POS systems is highly desirable. * Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning is highly valued -- a growth mindset. * Values matter to you. Working Hours This is a part-time position working 15-24 hours per week depending on the season. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Saturday and include mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
